They sold supplements.
Now they run a wellness habit.
Habits launched a standalone wellness microsite with a 30-day challenge: hydrate, move, sleep, log. Daily activities, challenge rewards, and a public leaderboard turned a one-shot purchase into a routine.
A loyalty stack built around discounts, not behaviour.
Habits had grown on D2C supplements and a points-for-purchases loyalty stack. Margins were under pressure: every retention play was a discount, and the customer base had learned to wait for the next sale.
The team wanted a wellness narrative that pulled customers in for reasons that weren't price — daily routines, public progress, and rewards earned through behaviour. The existing app shell was too transactional; a separate microsite was the right venue.
A 30-day challenge, four daily activities, one tier ladder.
Daily activities feed challenge progress, challenge progress feeds the leaderboard, and the leaderboard feeds the tier ladder — the whole loop sits on a single Bricqs canvas.
30 days, four activities, one habit.
Hydrate, move, sleep, log. Each activity is a one-tap log with optional integrations — Apple Health for steps, the Habits app for sleep.
- Designed by the coach teamCoaches author the challenge with rules, milestones, and rewards in the Bricqs admin. No engineering required.
- Streak-aware milestonesHit 7, 14, and 30 days for stacked rewards. The 30-day badge is the centrepiece of the share card.
Rewards that swap discounts for proof.
Finishing the challenge unlocks a tier upgrade, a branded shaker, and free shipping for 60 days. Rewards are inventory-tracked and capped per tier.
- Earned, not discountedMembers earn the same value the discount used to give — but only after seven days of behaviour. AOV climbs because they shop after the habit lands.
- Inventory-awareBricqs tracks the reward inventory and stops issuing once depleted. No over-issuance, no surprise budget overruns.
Public leaderboard, private tier ladder.
A public leaderboard surfaces the most consistent members each week. Behind the scenes, the same scores roll into a four-rung tier with shopping perks.
- Weekly + season viewsWeekly drives short-term action. Season totals make the long tail feel they're building toward something.
- Tier perks visible at checkoutGold gets free shipping and early access. Tier label rendered on the product page and order confirmation email.
What changed across the first season.
The microsite ran for 90 days with the coach team owning content. Members who finished a challenge spent twice as much per order as the rest of the base.
A microsite that talks to Shopify, the app, and Klaviyo.
Bricqs hosts the wellness microsite on its own domain. Shopify customer IDs flow through optional SSO, daily logging events come from the Habits mobile app, and rewards land in Klaviyo + Shopify within seconds.

“We stopped trading margin for retention. The challenge does the retention, the tier does the margin.”
