DIVISION turned profile completion into a leveling system.
Brands only book esports creators with fully-built profiles. DIVISION replaced its static onboarding with a Bricqs profile builder — points per saved section, a Pro Creator tier reveal, and a weekly streak that keeps profiles fresh. Profile completion climbed from 45% to 80% in 90 days.
Half-built profiles don't get paid.
Brands need five things from a creator: bio, games, audience, streaming reach, payout. On paper, a 12-minute task. In practice, 55% of creators bounced at the Twitch sync step — and profiles sat half-built, invisible to brands and unreachable by recruiters.
Email nudges, modals, and progress bars each moved the number a few points, then plateaued.
Treat profile completion like leveling up.
Three Bricqs primitives working together: points for every saved section, a tier that unlocks brand match, and a weekly streak that keeps profiles fresh.
Reward every profile section the moment it saves.
Five profile sections, each earning points on save: bio, games, sync, audience, payout. The full creator profile reads as five quick wins instead of one long form.
- Points awarded on saveBio +50, Games +50, Sync +150, Audience +100, Payout +75. Credited automatically as creators save each section.
- Inline reward feedbackA pulse and a running counter show the win before the next field loads.
- Auto-save on blurNo submit button per section. Leaving a field saves the answer and earns the points.
Pro Creator became the door, not the medal.
We replaced the 100% completion bar with a points threshold. 300 points unlocked the Pro Creator tier — the same tier brands already use to filter the creator pool. The reward stopped being a number on a profile and became access to brand match.
- Tier shown as a clear statusSurfaced in the profile header, not a meter buried in settings.
- Aligned with brand searchBrands filter by tier when searching the creator pool, so Pro Creator drives real visibility.
- Queue access opensThe brand-match queue and outreach inbox unlock the moment the tier flips.
A weekly streak kept verified profiles coming back.
The verified badge was tied to a weekly stats re-sync. Hold the streak, hold the badge. Miss the window and the profile drops down the brand-match feed. Returning to protect a status creators already earned proved a stronger pull than chasing something new.
- Weekly sync windowRe-connect once every 7 days to hold the streak and keep the verified badge.
- Visibility drops on lapseAfter 14 days without a sync, the profile drops down the brand-match feed. The cost is reach, not just a label.
- Pre-window reminderA reminder fires 2 days before the window closes, so creators never lose a streak by surprise.
The chore became the level-up.
90 days into the rollout, every onboarding KPI moved. The leveling system did the work that email nudges never could.
DIVISION emits the events. Bricqs runs the rules.
Two integration paths push profile events to Bricqs. Point rules and tier thresholds live in the Bricqs dashboard, so a marketer can add a new reward without filing an engineering ticket.
- JWT signed with tenant key
- Section save → event
- Same UI, same auth
- Per-section point rules
- Tier promotion at 300 pts
- Weekly streak window + reminder cron
- Append-only points ledger
- Webhook · tier and streak status
- Brand-match queue unlock on Pro Creator
- Marketers edit point rules in Bricqs admin
- 1EmbedProfile builder embedded as a tab
The Bricqs canvas mounts inside DIVISION's existing onboarding route. No separate domain, no new auth.
- 2IdentifyExisting user_id passed via signed JWT
DIVISION's auth service signs a short-lived JWT with the user_id. Bricqs verifies and creates a participant on first save.
- 3EventsEach section save fires an event
DIVISION emits a structured event when a section saves. Scoring, tier promotion, and streak windows all derive from this stream.
- 4OutputsTier + streak status webhooked back
Tier promotions and streak status push back to DIVISION's profile service in real time, so the UI reflects the change without a page reload.
